Mil-Spec M16 / AR15 Buffer Tube - Clear Anodize

Looking for the awesomeness of a clear anodize buffer tube?   We have the best one around.  We source the raw tubes from Schmid Tool and then send them off to one of the best anodize companies in the world where they receive a light media blast to give them some texture and the a dip in the anodizing tanks, skipping the black dye stage.  A beautiful coating of dry-film lube is applied to the interior, making them ready for you to abuse.

A note about clear hard coat anodizing - it is not an even color as it is effected by the aluminum beneath the anodizing as well as the way the light reflects off the finish.  Unlike anodizing with black dye, it also does not cover minor imperfections that would normally not be seen.  It is every bit as protective as hard coat anodizing with black dye.

    I picked up this clear anodized buffer tube for a Q Sugar Weasel lower build. The value was incredible as most companies will charge between $50-$100 for the same mil-spec buffer tube if you can even find one in stock.

    Anomaly/Bump on first detent whole.

    Nice color, matches upper. My example has a small bump around the edge of the first adjustment whole, which you can actually also see in the product images. Not an issue with SBA3 but could prevent you from collapsing certain brace or stock all the way. Could be I got the one from the photo.

    Great color, and fits really well, but when I unboxed it, it felt like it was tacky? I don't know if that was a result of something happening during anodizing, but the lower I received the same day did not have this issue. There are marks already from me extending/collapsing my brace- that could be just the result of the brace being weirdly tight, but not sure. Still great, and happy to purchase another in the future.

    Anodizing looks nice and even. The threading fits nicely, the internal bore and external measurements are firmly within spec. This is a solid product at a good price!!
