It's even better than pictured. Was looking for a 'un logo-ed' lower with no firing controls lettering or glyphs. This lower, which everyone at the FFL had to check out, is better outcome than it's advertised. If you want the 'plain brown wrapper' or 'sleeper' effect, I don't see how you can beat this. Smooth, no-flash, to spec, function only unit. I'm waiting on a barrel, backordered. No issues with assembly or fancy trigger. Only found the slightest 'felt' movement between the upper and lower, when force applied. Unable to visually confirm, even with flashlight. (Standard takedown pins, rest is CMMG kit and special forged hammer/trigger). I even has the ser #'s almost 'hidden'; talk about 'low key'. I got a lot of approvals on this choice at the FFL, and with it being a forged lower garnered thumbs up. Buy if you want: smooth, basic look, no frills, low observability, looks with the toughest foundation.

Goal: A 'reduced art' lower with possibly no fire control markings. Found this. Bamm! It even has the ser # underneath, obscured during a quick glance, by trigger and guard. 'Plain brown wrapper'. It's even better when holding in hand. The FFL personnel not only verified it's a great choice, quality top shelf, I was the 'popular kid' as many really liked it, including a couple of customers. (Employee has to, discretely, wipe off prints.) Have not yet fired; but, all lower parts went in like spec. The upper (sand barrel) I obtained long ago, can be felt to 'shift' slightly, rotational forces, but not visually see it or any gaps using sunlight. (Pins?) Some questions and inquiries were friendly and quickly answered. This layout is cool where I'm thinking of getting another after Christmas. I don't need to, but . . . Low-Key; if you want a no-logo-ed or 'pure-essence' style of build, this forged lower is the way to go. Machine look. Only has stuff for function. (Pure machine, no flash. No show, all GO.) I liked it a lot online; even more in hand. If you're thinking about, buy. It's a quality foundation.
