Bad Attitude Forged M4 / A4 Upper Receiver

********THERMAL FIT********

  • CNC Machined from a 7075-T6 forging
  • Mil-Spec Type Type 3 Class 2 anodizing
  • Dry film lube on the interior
  • Lugs held to the high end of the spec to help with a snug lower fit
  • M4 Feedramps
  • These are thermal fit receivers.  You will need to heat the receiver in order to install your barrel
    • Heat the receiver in an oven set at 250*.  Install the barrel and let it cool to room temperature before you install the barrel nut
    • GENTLY heat the front of the receiver with a propane torch.  Do not overheat the receiver.  You need only to heat it slightly to install the barrel.  Install the barrel quickly and let cool to room temperature before you install the barrel nut.
  • Bad Attitude Department is not responsible and will not replace uppers damaged due to improper heating or installation.  If you run in to a problem, let us know and we can help you out. 
  • Fits all standard Mil-Spec dimension components
  • Custom engraving available
  • Forge-Tac Package includes t-marks, top and side engravings, as well as forward assist and engraved dust cover to match the Call of Duty video game carbine.  Do not select the individual items.  

If added, T-Marks will be laser engraved in white

For custom logos, please check our our BCG page for examples or email us first with your logo idea.  Logos will only be placed on the top rear of the receiver, just above the charging handle.  Deep engraving destroys all anodizing and usually requires a coating or color fill to protect the exposed aluminum.

    Great product. Quality is there for sure. Will be buying more in the future. Especially for the price, compared to what you pay from other manufacturers. I feel like I got a better value for quality vs cost, essentially no mark up because of a name. I do wish there were a way to get the option to buy an upper that came pre drilled for the anti-rotation pin for wedgelock rails so I didn’t have to send this one off. But that is user specific. So knowing I will have to do that in the future when I purchase again. I fell like I still come out on top overall.

    Purchased this upper for UAR-15 clone. BAD worked with me to get the correct engraving done after I messed up the order. Greet customer service!

    I just did my first upper receiver build, using this receiver. Stern Defense 9mm barrel and BCM handguard. Everything fit perfect. The upper has zero wiggle mated to a Type-A lower receiver. Will buy again.

    If you want an upper from a reputable source, you can’t go wrong here. There is some minor pitting in a couple of places that you have to get REALLY close to see, but the finish is perfect and tolerances are TIGHT! Very happy for my milspec build.
