Bad Attitude Department AR15 Stripped Upper Receiver - Cat Eye Bronze

  • CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum forgings
  • M4 Feed Ramps
  • These are thermal fit receivers.  These will not pass a .998" gauge without heating.  You will need to heat the receiver in order to install your barrel
    • Heat the receiver in an oven set at 250*.  Install the barrel and let it cool to room temperature before you install the barrel nut
    • GENTLY heat the front of the receiver with a propane torch.  Do not overheat the receiver.  You need only to heat it slightly to install the barrel.  Install the barrel quickly and let cool to room temperature before you install the barrel nut.
  • Bad Attitude Department is not responsible and will not replace uppers damaged due to improper heating or installation.  If you run in to a problem, let us know and we can help you out. 
  • Mil-Spec Type Type 3 Class 2 anodizing - Cat Eye Bronze
  • Fits all standard Mil-Spec dimensioned components
  • Custom engraving available

If added, T-Marks will be laser engraved

IMPORTANT: Colored anodizing does not hide the minor imperfections and grain structure present in all forgings. They will have visible color variations, speckles, or smudges, and small dents and dings that would not be seen on a black anodized piece. We do not consider these blemishes as they are natural to the forgings. Different pieces will have differing color and shade. They will not perfectly match.

For custom logos, please check our our BCG page for examples or email us first with your logo idea.  Logos will only be placed on the top rear of the receiver, just above the charging handle.  Deep engraving destroys all anodizing and usually requires a coating or color fill to protect the exposed aluminum.

    Used for a precision build. Really beautiful copper color. Fits tight and seems to be in spec
