For custom logos, please check our our BCG page for examples or email us first with your logo idea. Logos will only be placed on the top rear of the receiver, just above the charging handle. Deep engraving destroys all anodizing and usually requires a coating or color fill to protect the exposed aluminum.
A note about clear hard coat anodizing - it is not an even color as it is effected by the aluminum beneath the anodizing as well as the way the light reflects off the finish. Upper and lower receivers may not match at all in color. Unlike anodizing with black dye, it also does not cover minor imperfections that would normally not be seen. It is every bit as protective as hard coat anodizing with black dye.
Bought this upper receiver for a new build. I like the almost fde look of the clear anodized aluminum. Clear anodizing and the different colors it makes the metal is cool. The machining is clean and the fit was good for the lower I'm using.

I've gotten several uppers now, a couple blems and some non blems. You can tell a difference in the machining since he set up his new CNC. Friggin spot on. And the new anodize is very unique in color and smooth as can be. From what I understand this new anodizer handles some of the Gucci brands but I'm sure there was an NDA on factory tour day. It depends on the light the upper is in, as well as what colors you put next to it. With Geissele FDE next to it, it looks kinda FDE. With Geissele ODG next to it, it takes on some grey tones. It almost has a color shift to it (not in a bad way). Of course, anodizing is a crap shoot and very inconsistent from one batch to the next so YMMV. The inside where the carrier rails and charging handle ride are also buttery smooth. Haven't run it yet but fitment with several lowers is good, all seems well. Buy with confidence. For the price whether you buy black or clear, it's a steal
This is my 4th of the Bad Attitude Clear Uppers not blemished and non blemished and I absolutely love them. The fit and finish is amazing they running perfect with little to no wobble. But with confidence and know that their customer service is excellent as well if you ever have any questions or concerns they are happy to assist!

Ended up with 3 builds-whether matching clear ano, offset with black, or grey- all solid shooters that look damn good.
Upper arrived within the week. Anodizing is really nice and machining on upper has zero imperfections I can spot. Very nice upper to build a budget Badger. I’ll be buying a lower to match when in stock.
This is a great forged upper, and one of the only clear anodized ones you can find. The coating in the charging handle track is a little thick, but it easily works in with a little oil. If you're looking for clear ano, this is it.
